1. Introduction
wearenox.io uses a small number of cookies and similar device-storage technologies, listed in full below. We do not use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies, and nothing on this site tracks you across other websites. Everything listed here exists to make the shop work, keep the site secure, or remember choices you have made.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the site and shop to function and are set without consent, as permitted by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Shop (WooCommerce)
- wp_woocommerce_session_*, keeps your cart session; expires after about 2 days.
- wc_cart_hash_* and woocommerce_items_in_cart, remember what is in your bag; expire when you close your browser.
Accounts (WordPress)
- wordpress_test_cookie, checks that your browser accepts cookies when you sign in; expires with your session.
- wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* and wp-settings-*, set only for account holders who sign in, to keep you securely logged in and remember your preferences.
Security & infrastructure
- __cf_bm (Cloudflare), filters automated bot traffic; expires after 30 minutes. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- wfwaf-authcookie-* (Wordfence), security verification for signed-in users; expires after 1 day.
Consent (Complianz)
- cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_marketing, remember your cookie choices for 365 days.
3. Functional storage on your device
The following are stored by your browser and are not transmitted to us unless stated:
- nox_age_ack, remembers that you have acknowledged the 18+ research-use notice; cleared when you close the tab.
- nox_favs, your saved research list; kept on your device, and synced to your account only if you sign in.
- nox_calc_recents, your recent dilution-calculator entries; kept on your device.
- nox_recently_viewed, up to twelve recently viewed products, used for the recently-viewed strip in your account area.
- storeApiCartHash, storeApiCartData and wc_fragments_*, keep the shopping bag drawer in sync as you browse.
4. What we do not use
No analytics cookies. No advertising or marketing cookies. No social-media pixels or embeds. No cross-site tracking of any kind. If this ever changes, this policy will be updated first and, where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before anything new is set.
5. Managing cookies
You can review or change your choices at any time via the “Manage consent” tab at the bottom-right of any page, or through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting cookies may empty your bag or sign you out, but the site will otherwise continue to work.
